First of all thank you for just clicking on this page, that alone means you have a heart for the good cause! 😉 This year -2020- I finally got the spirit to update my website after a long long time. I registered this website in 2006, but actually started it before on a different random college page. So… 2005 I think was the real start of dodo-upgrades. I improved the website each year at a slower pace until 2013… then it really got halted due to work, life in general etc.
This year I got the motivation to really build it up new, in WordPress, updated the forum board and made plans to expand the information. And that was noted… I actually got a request from somebody using this website to donate. Thnx man, you know who you are ;-). That got me thinking… over the years I have spent time and money on this website because it was fun without commercial return. I have met lots of people, whether face to face or via email across the ocean. I used to think of that as being my payout (and yes, I got lots of free stuff and invitations to do cool things from various persons inside the scene). But some people would like to make a direct donation. Which is just awesome and I never expected that.
