Re: Problems After IM Swap
Just a quick update on my situation. It appears that there are no visible vacuum leaks so on further inspection when we pulled the MAP sensor out it ran a lot better. There is no jerking but it still idles around 1500rpm and splutters under loading below 2000rpm. I am going to replace it with the MA...

D14-D16 IM Swap Problem
I performed this IM swap today and the car drives great with much more torque etc. However, on idle it is around the 2,000rpm mark and when warmed it jumps between 1,000rpm and 2,000rpm as these videos show: http://s1031.photobucket.com/albums/y375/StephenR22/?action=view¤t=SAM_0874.mp4 ht...

Externally they appear to be extremely similar in design with the ZC not having an IACV. As the D14 uses a RACV and the IACV is not needed this would be a c...

Re: Cold Air Intakes, Airboxes and Scoops
Had a look around online and could not find a definite answer to this question...Will I have issues fitting a DC1 airbox to a D16Y8 IM fitted to a D14. The internal diameter of the TB side of the airbox piping is 65mm and as far as I am aware this is the same as the external diameter of the D14 TB. ...
