iff you visit the bisimoto website at the cam section there is D14/D15/etc so i assumed that they know what they are doing comparised to a "big" cam/racing sport company that does not pay a lot of attention to our little engines.....

nice nice, when to your local auto scrap yard you will be able to get a D14 cam for a regrind or a head because in general the most scrap yard people don't know the potential of the D14 engine so these parts are the cheap ones in comparison to B16 etc engines i have to cams but i have just one spare...

the weld is indeed harder then the welded material BUT when welding you extract the materials carbon an chrome out of the welded material into the weld. and indeed iff you don't heat treat your cam after welding you have the fragile but very (almost to) hard austenite... but the springs bisimoto off...

i just have visited the bisimoto website and maybe i'm gonna purchase/regrind a level2 d14cam with the bisimoto valvesprings (you dont have to use other retainers )
but i don't know if the springs match a D14 engine because they are ment for d15/d16....
