Re: [discussion]D14 without vtec, max hp?
my respect for your engine :P seems i have lost my so called "record" according to joris haha, but what is different between our set ups mine has 33 hp less but only 10Nm of torque less..... what kind of work you have done to the head and what camshaft? i used the bisimoto stage2 camshaft ...

Re: Dutch dyno-meet/workshop.
no i did not but the result was: in low revs till 4000/4500 rpm the acceleration was significantly better, but after that it was worse compared to the 66mm TB. i tested driving with a wideband lambda but the car was not running leaner or anything. i think my bisi camshaft and ported head (ported by ...

Re: Dutch dyno-meet/workshop.
Ok i was interested in Lakaid14 's dyno chart how the curve moves true out the rpm's with the level 2 cam. i will check if i can find my dyno graph, but now i am optimizing my engine because in lower revs i think i can achieve more power..... i bought a B16 throttlebody that i want to use in stead ...

Re: NEW D14 project 150 bhp! non V-tec whahaha :D
So did you used a stock tb ? Or stil the gigantic 66mm tb? Try the stock TB it's better then the bigger one on a skunk2 manifold! i am still using the 66mm, but my tuner had tuned my car with my ported D16 IM (with 66mm TB) and after (skunk2 IM and 66 TB) andhe was stunned by the results he had nev...

i am sorry people......................... :P i am away from work, i am in germany on the moment but i can tell you a little bit, i have changed my IM for a skunk2 pro series IM and it is working great. my milled IM was the bottleneck of my engine build. 2 saturdays ago i have remapped the engine an...

Re: BRAND NEW PART for D-series caterventilation!!
i have made the one end 9mm because the catch tank that i am using has the same diameter zo i could use 1 hose nicely the surface of hole in the valvecover + the surface of the hole in my part is more then enough combined, to assure that there is no pressure building up, in a short way, the ventilat...

Re: BRAND NEW PART for D-series caterventilation!!
i believe the biggest bore in the part is 16mm and the hose-end is 9mm i believe, it should be more than enough because the diameter of the original hose to the manifold is smaller. i used a 1/2 liter catchtank and lead 2 hoses, 1 from the valvecover and 1 from carter ventilation where the breatherc...

BRAND NEW PART for D-series caterventilation!!
I have designed a part to separate carter ventilation from manifold. It is a "plug and play" piece to replace your breatherchamber with a plug to fix a hose that is ataches to an oil catch tank. I have made the first prototype myself and it is still working well, in combination with a 1/2 ...

Re: NEW D14 project 150 bhp! non V-tec whahaha :D
finnaly i have some news! the bad news is i did not reach 150 bhp but on the other side i have managed to get 131,5 horsepower and 148 Nm of torque, within a few monts i get back to dthe dyno with an IM of skunk2 because i want to go for the 100hp/L :D and maybe if i trash my gearbox i am going to p...
