Re: D16Z6 clutch vs D14 clutch

if you can afford it buy an exedy. It must be cheaper than the stock. I also hear good things about ACT and clutchmasters From what I have heard most aftermarket clutches are not as good as OEM honda.. And I have heard bad stories about exedy. Although I have heard good things about competition clu...

Re: D16Z6 clutch vs D14 clutch

my friends eg d16z6 reminds me of my brother`s b16b grab. A straight swap isn`t possible though as you need the whole clutch So you would rate the D16Z6 oem clutch highly then? I know a straight swap isnt possible and you need the full clutch and flywheel.. I have just bought a D16Z6 gearbox to rep...

Re: Aftermarket Cluthes

My clutch still works fine but after some abuse it slips badly.. When I shift at high rpm's it doesnt grab as it should or like it used to.. I am thinking of changing to a D16Z6 clutch as they are slightly bigger so I assume they will grab much harder than a D14 clutch and wont slip like a D14 clutc...

Re: D16Z6 clutch vs D14 clutch

Judging by the replies a lot of people have the same problem.. My clutch slips extremely badly when shifting at high rpms it doesnt grab as it should.. I am guessing a D16Z6 oem clutch would grab just fine?

D16Z6 clutch vs D14 clutch

Hello I have just went through a D14 clutch and now it is slipping badly in not much time at all. I have learnt D14 clutches dont take much abuse at all. I was wondering would a D16Z6 clutch be much of an upgrade? Would it be more capable and much stronger? I was thinking just a standered OEM D16z6 ...

Re: high compression pistons

I was told fitting d16a9 pistons to a D14 using D14 rods of course would get you a compression ratio of around 13.0:1 as I found someone selling this set up?
