You need to program ecu to inject right amount of fuel elsewhere engine will run rich

Do you think this has to do with a problem I face now and then that the car won't start and the key lamp stays on? It is somehow common problem for 98-99 civics. Yes, it will work with usdm ecu.
The ecu differences is for emissions regulations and fuel map differences.
In case of manual ecu then it will needed add clutch sensor in eudm car in order to work with usdm ecu.
Since it is auto there is no such problem
