not the i dsi ones was looking on ebay earlier and saw a few a8 engines looked identical to the a3/4 ones. Noticed it stating 8v which would make sense on the lack of power, but then again wouldn't put it past the cam & ecu map being different

am I correct in saying a3/4 is the 16v version with the A8 being the 8v? that would probably explain why the A8 engine was struggling to make it past 105
