Re: Datalog
The carMM thingy does store information from the ECU. Although this is a OBD II datalogger. P28 is OBD1 and i know that a tunerview can show u what the EUC is doing. I don't know any dataloggers unless u would like to use a other engine managment. (Emerald, AEM or so.) If u find something u like i s...

Re: want to upgrade my brakes!
The balance is good enough. Honda isn't going to put to much money on those details. Most likely they are made that way, did so tests and the brakes are ok. Bigbrake in front and drums at the rear is a shitty balance. For street use i would go for an 282mm front and disk conversion rear. Also i woul...

Re: Dropping idle
Mabey the EACV is sticky.
That way the ECU can't let air in.
If it's the EACV it's easy to fix.
Take the EACV of and spray the inside with WD40.
let the WD40 stay there for some minutes, poor it out.
Put the EACV back where it came from and it should be fixed.

Re: Datalog
I don't know what data u want to store. If u want to know what your engine does this thing might be able to tell u. But if u want to lap times and stuff where GPS is needed this thing is not what u look for. My guess is that this thing can tell u what the ECU is measuring. Like a tunerview can tell ...

Re: turbo timer
A turbo timer is used to keep the oil pump running so the turbo doesnt burn the oil still in it when the engine is down. And a turbo on duty is pretty hot. While the engine shoudn't get to hot to cause damage. A friend did make a capsule around his turbo to keep the exhaust gasses as hot as possible...

Re: crankcase gases
OEM Honda made on the backside of the engine under the water circuit a blockoff plug. A friend of mine did find a OEM piece on the EPC that is used for oil cooling, wich I'm going to use to neutralize the crankcase gases. Hihi, it's hard to explain... I'll make a pic of it tomorrow ;) I do hope that...

Re: Set up riddle.
14" wheels are very tiny. Stock wheels have high tires around them to compensate the small wheels but thats not sporty. :D I dont know if u use the car on tracks or only the public roads. I would get some bigger wheels for street use and only fix the 14" weels when I'm going for a ride suc...

Re: Brake Stoppers
I also want to get one of those. I'm convinced that it makes a differance.
The force pushing the breakcilinder is big enough to give it some support.
Actualy i even want one on the EC8 for daily use.
And a 3pt. strutbar also helps to prevent the firewall to move.
