Re: Bisimoto's Honda civic Wagon (D15b7 )
Thing is, and I'm not trying to start a fight. 2.5" will get my aproval, if I see a less powered dino run with 2" exhaust (50mm), which is more common to use in 1.4~1.6 SOHC engines. Gaining a few HP with 2.5" exhaust, doesn't tell us that is the perfect exhaust for the car. I agree t...

Re: y8 / z6 head
Y8 head gives a bit more compression, so depending on which pistons to use, it will be either a great or bad choice. Finally, I've just found which dome my pistons have, and with Z6 head and headgasket, it gave me 11.55:1 without any milling

Re: Exhaust manifolds
Law, sorry for the delay. Did Henrique told you how much the EM cost? Search in ebay.co.uk for Japspeed d16, seller is 2fast2cool2, 99£ the EM, plus 34£ for shipping. Btw the EM is ok until now, had a small problem on the middle flange, where the two parts merge together, blown a couple of gaskets. ...

Re: Intake tubes. Do size and shape count?
You have to use the intake tube with the fastener (clamp) of the stock intake tube... the B16 one was to big, so I changed it and re-used the one from my D16.

Re: Intake tubes. Do size and shape count?
Fully recovered!
Yup, in the picture it is a D16 tube, which is narrower, the B16 is thicker thus allowing more airflow and throtle response.
Will post the measurings today!

The middle tail wing for the EK HB is rarely seen in Portugal, but it is gorgeous.

2.5" Exhaust... what an abuse! That is too much even for a stock B16

Re: Intake tubes. Do size and shape count?
I use EG B16 intake tube on my D14, and it runs much faster than with the stock D16 one (my car has D16z6 full intake).
I'm sick, guessing the flu got me, but as soon as I'm ok I will measure stock and B16 intake internal diameter.
Sorry, should've done it before

Re: Exhaust manifolds
Owen, ebay exhaust are no that bad. Since you live in UK, I would recomend you use JapSpeed exhaust manifolds, cause they have high quality (for the price you pay) and are resistent to corrosion (and that is a problem in UK). JapSpeed go for around 100pounds, I bought mine for 99pounds, with 34pound...
