Re: Chassis Reinforcement
i think we have talked about it previously, but what do you think of this
Firstly BETEK will provide us with part number so as to find the actual cost as a new part
Then, how could this be unmounted and mounted again without harming it?is it bolted on the chassis?

Re: Chassis Reinforcement
This modification to be done is very easy.
You can add a bar and weld it on ej9 chassis on the parts 12 and 13 on the picture
There is no need to buy any new part.
But in case you want to buy new stuff the part number for this is 71140-S03-Z00ZZ
number 5 on the picture.
To unbolt this bar is very easy too, just take off the 4 bolts with number 29

Who have Civic `99-`00 are lucky because they have already a protection bar that works aslo as reinforcement bar too, number 8 on the first pic or number 4 at the second pic
Here is a`96-`98 model that add a bar from `99-`00 civic
All USDM spec civics have these bars `96-`98 and `99-`00 models

Re: Chassis Reinforcement
do we know anything about the bar under the rear seat?
Re: Chassis Reinforcement
This is not bar it is just a protection cover for the wires (fuel and ABS) that pass from there.
Integras have them and if I remember well the EF civics too

Re: Chassis Reinforcement
if only we could have a bar like that, which doesn't limit the rear space
