guys in mine it was a straight swap. Nothing like this was needed. Not stock header and cat though

So you mean that, you unbolted the old front stabilizer and bolted ek4's one without touching nothing else?

now that i look the photos in the 1st page it seems weird but i remember so. I am going to ask my mechanic today to verify.

I think I heard people say that it was possible to move it in without disconnecting, but its a tight fit... and in my case when working on stands on the ground not easy to do. I always disconnect both, though once I did not diconnect the rods from the tranny (as you should), but disconnected the rods from the chassis. Easier to get the rods disconnected, not so easy to put the swaybar on.
