Re: good brake setups
if you find somewhere FTE, buy them. They worked for me. The stock must be nissin. So no big deal. They must be expensive too.
Re: good brake setups

Re: good brake setups
For track driving I recommend a good cooling system. For daily road driving, you do not need it. I've had melted brake pads after 2 hours of track with the B16B... stock pads, but they seemed to hold it up, the initial wear wasn't big, checked each half our. Went into the last half our with far over 50% of the pads left, but ended with nothing and a near miss of the gravel.

Its not right firebass... Come on... Air pipe on the brakes...!
Well the ceramic brakes are a wooof herd are the best on track but expensive.
Some people drill more holes in their disc plate for more stability.

a friend of mine has the following set up on his EK4:
REAR: calipers and rotors from ep2 civic with ferodo pads
FRONT: crv calipers and rover mg rotors with carbotech pads
MASTER CYLINDER: from crv
the carbotech pads and the master cylinder, are the best upgrades of this set up
