for RHD the obd2 connector must be near the gas pedal
under the hood latch cover



for LHD the obd2 connector is near the clutch pedal
also under the hood latch cover

I have removed both covers.

I do have the C0 pot... I will try look higher.

The pictures are not mine. They are from internet, from American Honda forums.
Maybe the Americans have other specifications than other countries and that's why you can not find the connector.

So I recived my 3 pin DLC to 16 pin DLC adapter today.



I have found more hiding placed should I have the 16 pin port...

Hi, I have the following to share with you:

1. It looks like your car is using the K-Line protocol (ISO 9141 or ISO 14230), which corresponds pin 7 of the OBD-2 connector

2. Three wires are enough for the K protocol to work: Pins 5,7,16 of the OBD-2 connector.

3. If the 3-pin converter connects to pins 5,7,16 of the OBD-2 connector then it is promising. It is likely that the blue 3-pin socket does just that.

4. Honda uses ISO protocol (ISO 9141 or ISO 14230)

5. Whether the scan tool can connect to your car’s ECU will also depend on the following: baud rate, header

6. I am using the exact bluetooth ELM327 adapter and have just managed to get it work with Torque. I need to use custom init string to set baud rate, ECU address and header to get ECU connection. My car uses ISO 14230 protocol.
