Anti theft device EJ9 (Austria EDM model A14A4)

Hi mebers,
as you can see, I'm new on this forum, and I've registered, because this site is very cool for EJ9 tuning (thanks to Dodo Bizar) and the second reason is, that I've got a problem.
A friend of mine has just swapped a D15B2 OBD1 into a EJ9 D14A4.
We've pin modded the harness with the service manuals from Honda and the distributor (thanks again to Dodo) with the help of this page
But yesterday, when we tried to start up, there was no spark on the plugs.
So the question ist, if there is a problem in the harness, or if there is a problem with the anti-theft device, this car has installed.
The used ECU is a chipped P28 (moates, chrome)
The fuelpump is running, we've to check, if the injectors a working as well.
Can you give me any hints for the anti theft system of this car, as this isn't mentioned in the guides listed on the page.
Thanks in advance,
Flow

hi and welcome! Please create a new topic on the newbies section we have
Are you referring to the stock anti theft device? The alarm that is or the imobiliser?

Hi,
why on the newbies section?
ECU and electronics is a good container for the question I think.
I'm talking about the OEM immobiliser of the EJ9, which is mounted under the steering wheel, near the ignition switch and the dashboard.
I think this device can cause the spark interruption.
But, as an additional info, the "key"-lamp for the immobiliser turns off after a few moments, when the key is turned to ignition.
So it looks very normal I think.
thx
Flow

Expect the ecu, the immobilizer controls the fuel pump and the starter.
You still have immobilizer in car.

Thanks for the answers,
I've found out, that the imobilizer wasn't a problem.
It was a wrong wire to the distributor.
Corrected it and now it starts...
no good idle, but more to come

ok, now i got it with the newbies section
Ok I'll do that, but I don't drive a EJ9, I've got a ED6 and my fun car is a EG4
The EJ9 is from a friend of mine.
By the way.... The EJ9 is running now...
Only got problems with the idle, it doesn't look like we got a good fuel/air ratio on the first test run, but I'm sure, that this will get fine in the next few days

Ah, welcome to the DU hehe. I recieved your email a few days ago, typed a lengthy respons to it... and then found out I could not send the email out for some reason with my email server. So glad you found your way here.
Also glad the problem was fixed.
But I do have some questions left, D15B2 OBD1? That should actually be the OBD0 type ECU aint it? Or did you perform a mpfi swap on it, made it effectively a D15B7 and used the P06? So tell me all about the setup and mayby its an easy fix.
Btw the dizzy problem? Is it the coloring issue from two of the CKP/CYP/TDC pairs? Honda changed colors from one set to the other at a certain point and it is very easy to mix them up, especially when fiddling with the D15B2 engine. What is the year of built of the D15B2 since it can be found in 4th gen and 5th gen Civic?
