I'm preparing to change my timing belt, and when i went to buy a water pump i was told it costs 100euro, and when i asked him why he said 'the d14z2 has an extra part that makes it expensive, not sure why' and then he offered me this different one for 45 euro

Anyone know the difference or if he's wrong or something? The gear thing in the middle is bigger, and the otherside is a little different also, but the holes line up and the amount of splines are the same

Where is this from? I'm planning on buying mine from:-
http://www.autodynamics-honda.com/
They sell a timing belt (honda) and water pump kit (OEM) for ~£100.

Where you happy with the fitting Polyvios? I'm a bit worried about the patent water pump...

Could the extra set of teeth be for a crankshaft speed sensor or something? I thought it was located at -The- crankshaft, not pump?
