Cams for D14

Now we can compare d14z2 with d16w3 camshaft:






D16W3 camshaft:

• longer advertised duration (I - 246deg; E - 240deg)
• present valve overlap phase at TDC
• earlier opening of exhaust valves (much louder exhaust, unfortunately )

I made a comparison of three SOHC non vtec cams. Here are my findings:

Interesting that there is no air intake overlap for the D14, maybe because of smaller engine size compared to the D16's?

if i would let my stock cam gedrinded, how many hp will it add? i know it depends on several conditions but whats a realistic gain?
and as i have been reading trough several topics, its better to juse the stock cams sins this is specifik for the engine if i understand correctlie?

i find info, D14A4\3 have cam like D16y7. it's true?
