But timing belt is different sized? D14 103 teeth, D15(Z6 for instance) has 104 teeth? I also thought deck height was different... mmmm no indeed deck heights are all same, 207 mm (or 207.45??? Think that is calc. error from inch to mm).

D13, D14 and D15 are indeed the same block. if I remember correctly, the block code is P2A. the belt difference could be because of different tensioner size.

I just dissassembled a D15Z6 engine here at home.
The engine code it has is P2J
How can I measure the connecting rod length and the deck height ? I always thought the D15Z6 engine had the same deck height as a D16

the D16 has a 5 mm taller block than the D15. you could probably put the rod on a piece of paper, trace out the big end and small end circles, mark the centers and measure the distance between the centers to arrive at rod length.
my guess is that the rods in that engine will be 137 mm long.

Hmm I made a mistake, the engine was indeed a P2A stamped block
Unfortunately I already thrown away the connecting rods, I might check if they are still there in the metal trash bin to measure the length

are you absolutely sure about this?
the reason i'm asking is that golden eagle makes sleeves for the d15 which should then theoretically fit the d13/d14 blocks without issue?
