Hey I've just done fase one of my engine build which was putting my car to manual. Next step is vtec. But I was just wondering if there was anything I need to watch out for I.e piston clearance? Also how much power could I be looking at?

It all depends on the rest of the setup.
If you put a d16z6 head on a d14 and put on exhaust/intake and all that kind of stuff you will probably be making around 125 + hp.
I dont think you have to worry about clearance. Most of the people resurfice the cilinder head and put a thinner gasket on it without any problems.

Thanks for the reply. Was just worried as the pistons in my engine are quite domed and wasn't sure I had enough clearance.

Just keep it safe and resurfice minimum
