Also I like this one http://www.tegiwaimports.com/eshop/stor ... oduct=1285 that is similar to ek9 knob, but from duracon.

do you prefer it in black?
Try www.ek9.org you can find used ek9 ones in perfect shape! The extra weight they have helps shifting in a more positive and fast way. If you are used to touching the knob while driving, try it ;)

The ek9 knob is beautiful from one I want to buy.
But due to the fact that ek9 is from metal I don't want it, at cold days you can't touch the metal knob.
The duracon is a kind of a plastic-rubber and is not slippery and neutral of temperature, thats why I want to buy this one.
Also the duracon knob has the shape of the ek9 one and I think that is comfortable to shifting.
What about the Spoon style one http://www.tegiwaimports.com/eshop/stor ... oduct=1284 , does anybody have experience with this knob?

I have an orginal Spoon gearknob, really pleased wih it, better than the OEM EJ9 one. It does get hot in the summer, but not as hot as an metal gearknob.
Even in Holland those things get to hot... Not to think in Greece or Turkey.

Finally I installed the knob.
But first I make a gear boot because my previous one had holes.
First I cut 4 pieces from material like leather.
The pieces have dimensions like the oem boot.
Then I sewed the pieces to one and with the help of the grandma (she made seams at her sewing machine, thank you :) ) I finshed the boot.
The next step was to put the oem plastic collar to the new boot and finally to fit the boot at the metal frame that hold the boot.
