i was thinking of getting a pair of recaros but the dc/ek9 ones as they don't fit me.They are too hard and short for my likings. So how would you consider something mediocre like this?




They come from vw or fords mainly, and you can find them very cheap on ebay

I have this kind of Recaro's in my EJ9 for years now. I got the grey alcantara's from a Lancia Delta HPE. Yes they are heavy (28kg driver's seat, 25kg passenger's seat). But they look stunning (except for the fact I am wearing mine out nowadays) and sit perfectly.

Yesterday I was driving my EJ1 with the Recaro's bucket seats which are ok to drive for a while, but then I entered my EJ9 with those Lancia Recaro's and it did wonders for my back. Put it differently, I would probably kill the person stealing those seats from me .

Once drove two Switzerland in one day (~800 km) and despite the firm suspension I had not a single back problem.

could you upoload a picture? Man they are way too heavy The ep3 ones must be around 15-18kg each

Color actually matches better than original seats in my opinion.

Joris what parts did you use from the ej9 seats? Do they sit taller than the stock ones?

Do they sit higher?
What did you do with the safety belts?
Do their folding buttons fit there?
and finally...
Are they wider than the tight ek9 recaros?

Nice! But these are Recaro style seats not real recaros. However they are looking good! Are you satisfied with them?Do they sit higher? Cost?

nah these are recaros the owner just wanted to make them leather and dressed them ofc they look nice and they are in the oem rails the height is good i love them purchased them for 300e from a close friend !!!
