need help guys, D15b7 advice

Hey guys,

My friend is scrapping his civic coupe engine code d15b7 tomorrow and i was wondering is there anything i could use from the engine for myself? I am going to do a y8 IM swap and then a obd1 conversion and Y8 mini-me. I am not familiar with the B7 engine myself, could i use parts from this for my project;

sorry not to refer. the engine start sound will be better i think if that is the same starter of the other 1.5 models. i've heard a 1.5 115hp start and it has lot better sound that ours. this is discussed here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=98

BTW i dont know if oil pump is diff but if it is you could upgrade.

What price are you getting them? If it is cheap buy the whole engine.

Plenty of stuff you can use. obd1 dizzy i think, obd1 TB, air induction tube, still can't use cam or valvetrain, some sensors O2 sensor, alternator. These come to my mind. Let's see what the others will say too.

Im not gonna take the pistons because thats a bit long but i will take the ecu, cheers.

yes, 75mm bore and all D motors that i know have the same.

ECU, Injectors, fuel rail, hoses, TB, all sensrors from IM, IACV, STARTER! distributor
