Re: flywheel replace!
Should not affect so much... unless idle really stalls it should stay the same.
Re: flywheel replace!
If the flywheel is to much lighter from stock, then yes the idle will play.

Re: flywheel replace!
I have a question:
If we change D14s flywheel with D15-D16 for swapping bigger clutch kit form D15-D16s, do we have to change the starter?

Re: flywheel replace!
i haven't heard for anything similar, only that the flywheel has to be changed in order to swap d16 clutch to ours.

Starter should be the same...
Re: flywheel replace!
Is a d16z6 flywheel any lighter than a D14 flywheel? Also I assume the clutch in a D16z6 is a better standerd than a D14 clutch?
Re: flywheel replace!
Yes the d16z6's clutch is better because of bigger size=friction area

Not really when i had my fly wheel in it dint the idle raised a bit, but i had idle issues but it was not the fly turn out to be the idle control...fixed that i never really came across any probs with my fly wheel uless its lighter than 8.4lbs i wouldnt knowBETEK wrote:If the flywheel is to much lighter from stock, then yes the idle will play.
