Basically it is as lumpenst says.

Only very minor changes exist between P3X and P3Y ECU. But nothing major in the order of the 15hp. Differences are so-called 2nd order effects which are important if you want to homolegate thousands of cars on very very strict emmision regulations etc. and perhaps make them 0.1% more efficient, but nothing we can sea or feel.
