I'm afraid I cannot measure it as I have moved it to a different location now =/
I mean if it doesnt fit then worst comes the worst I wont be able to use the casting. However the tumbler, locks and switch are still of great use to me. If you want I can send you back the igntion casting if it doesn't fit
I will definitely be keeping the immo functionality (and recommend it to everyone since it saved my car). Steering lock I'm not bothered about loosing since I think I'm going to buy one of these things:

Anyone got any experience of these, any good designs??

Normally these things hold back a burglar a bit better. Saved us a VW Golf one day. My dad took (a very old 87 Golf) to a German town one day. Some girls (way too young for his age ) tried to distract him for a few seconds, he realised what they were doing and simply walked on. Got to his car and drove home, nothing wrong.
But when arriving home (nice sunny day btw) I saw the car and noticed some weird stuff on it. It was sticky and all over the car. Seemed somebody threw a fizzy drink over the car in anger since there was this steering lock inside .

Yeah I think they are probably good deterents to the average thief. Its a joke where I live. In London (my hometown) I had to pay twice as much car insurance and never had a thing happen to my car once. I move to the countryside (Oxford) and my car has been personally attacked on 5 different occasions!!

You could say you are guaranteed to have a burglar...
