I think you can swap the gears but for sure better ask someone specialist.
About the D13B gearbox specs I hope that they are correct.

I have the mb2 d14a8 gearbox which has the 4.4 final drive.

You have pretty short transmission better to go light turbo and the results will be magic

how can u tell that in a4 it has 4.05 or 4.25 fd ???? cz we were thnking of changing the fd to 4.25 but we arent sure he has the 4.05 fd ?!?!?!
cz u said some a4 got the 1st some got the 2nd

only by seeing what speed each gear goes in the rev limiter or calculate it every 1000rpms
