Hello people,
I have a question about the P28 ECU. I am not running a D14 but a D15, i hope that this is not a problem. I really want to do a Mini-E on my D15Z6, but i have an automatic gearbox and want to keep this for medical reasons.
I know that i need a P28 G51 or G52 because these are the vtec ecu's for automatics. But i am having a hard time in finding one( a EDM one), i was wondering if i can use a USDM ECU(P28-A51/52) for this as they are easier to get.
I also heard that by tuning the P28 for automatic, you lose some function of the automatic tranny and i dont want to lose any functions.
Does anyone have any experience with a automatic and tuning? And is a USDM ECU going to work on a EDM car?

Yes, it will work with usdm ecu.
The ecu differences is for emissions regulations and fuel map differences.
In case of manual ecu then it will needed add clutch sensor in eudm car in order to work with usdm ecu.
Since it is auto there is no such problem
