Hi there, i was confused by my coolant lines after the swap and blocked the vertical pipe off, and connected the horizontal pipe to the 1 just above the pvc, then shorted the racv tubes, car seems fine. but i was wondering if i should of blocked off the horizontal 1 instead of the vertical 1? i just wana reassure myself my car wont blow up lol thanks ,tom

Re: IM connections?
Well, with the small lines you can't do really that much harm... you could block them all just of. Thing is, short-circuiting things looks better and is safer since a good blocker is hard to make (can leak if done poorly).
But the main coolant flows, those you ain't touching at all, so don't worry about that.
Unless you are a complete idiot and destroy the thermosstat housing by accident... like I did... yesterday... but fixed since I do happen to have a lot of spare parts... yeah kinda frustrated here. Only then you put your car in danger .

Re: IM connections?
You do not need to swap to D14 EVAP. Just keep D16 version, it works fine (and is a little smaller = better looks).

Ah true... well I changed the plug . But it does not matter, you can put the D14 if you like and keep the plug. I did not realize that actually.
