oem wheel modification

guys question with my recaro seats i noticed i dont have good position of my hands with the oem wheel i dont wanna change my wheel but i was looking for any iddea if i could bring my oem wheel 4 cm closer to me to relax my arms , any1 done anything like tham ?

Why did that happen?

probably due to oem rails that were modified, i think that the recaro ones lowers your height and your knees can go further inside the console, now my knees are ok but my arms are a little bit far !!!
