Re: Brake Pads
Any experience with FERODO DS2500? I have heard that they are noisy, wear the disc more but great performers. My FTE discs are quite old , so will they hold?

Re: Brake Pads
I have the DS2500 on front Powerslot discs, no noise.
But on OEM aft brake discs.... does make noise, not much, a bit scrapy sound but you here them especially at low speeds.
Its my EJ1 chassis btw...

Re: Brake Pads
Joris can you present your brake set up somewhere? The only limitation i set is that i want to keep my 262 discs in front so as to fit in the 14inch wheels.

Re: Brake Pads
Ehm can I just give it here?
Its an EJ1 chassis with original drums, somebody put stock VTi rear discs on it. All OEM except DS2500 pads and stainless steel lines.
The front is 262mm Powerslots, however changed OEM calipers for ITR calipers so the piston size went up from 54 to 57mm, needed it because of inbalance during heavy braking on the tracks (200-100kmh once each lap). Right now I order CRX VTEC pads which fit... or so I've been told, still original setup delivered by my sponsor .
I think this exact setup might work perfectly well on a EJ9 chassis... only I think you need 15 inch rims like me at least. Also i have brake cilinder from VTi car.

Re: Brake Pads
Its told to me that they are a tiny bit bigger.
On VTI callipers the 13 inch Lenso (used for drag radials) will fit if I am right, but now with the ITR callipers I can forget about it...
