Hello everyone... i was decoding my vehicle identification number...
i discovered on this site - http://members.lycos.nl/hendrik/honda/vin.htm - that my car was made in Suzuka Factory - Japan
This one :
Hardly my car will come back home since it is several thousands of kms away from here but it will be nice to service my car in Japan lets say for the 200'000kms service.
My car VIN was like JHMEJ93XXXSXXXXXX
J = Japan
H = Honda
M = Passenger Car, Built in Japan
EJ9 = 3 Door 1.4L
3 = 3 Door Hatchback, Manual
S = Suzuka, Japan
And yours?
Cheers

Re: Honda VIN Numbers
I think all EJ9's originate from this factory, chassis types were distributed like this:
MA and MB in Swindon UK.
EJ1 and EJ2 (coupe 5th gens) in USA somewere
EJ9 (and many others) in Suzuka Japan.
Fill in the rest...
