Still i am not quite sure if i should soften the coilovers and increase the tyre pressure or vice versa.Dodo Bizar wrote:The softer the suspension setup, the lesser you can notice any differences in tyre pressure. So yeah, makes sence.

Re: Tyre Pressures
My advice : if you don't feel comfortable with a stiff setup, buy better seats. My EJ9 is what one might call very stiff, but the Lancia HPE seats in it are ergonomic/sporty Recaro seats which supports so well you only hear complaints from people in the back on the OEM back seat.

Yeah i love my Acura Integra Type-r Seats ,comfortable but sporty enough.
I never liked Recaro's cause they were so tight.

Quote from Endyn:"The combustion chamber is a better shape than the DOHC.So don't chunk those 1.6 SOHC engines, they can make really good power. For a pure performance application, regardless of application, I'd choose the SOHC. No bull!"

Re: Tyre Pressures
Nope, 5th gen and 6th gen have one hole different if I am correct. I believe the inside-back ones. But I think a bit drilling could fix that.
So not plug&play, but do-able if I am correct. Need to fix my EJ1 seat, it has a rail with some play, next time 1/4 mile sprints it needs to be fixed or the can exclude me from entering.

Re: Tyre Pressures
i think the ek9 seats will fit will fit straight on. The dc2 seats like the eg ones have the problem with the one hole as you say.The best is to make a custom mount like an extension. I wouldn't drill. The same goes for ep seats.

Re: Tyre Pressures
So is someone able to confirm which seats will fit in the gen 5/6 Civics? My 97 EJ9 has 2 bolts (back and front) and a couple of worn out rails so I'm looking for new ones, which age Civic seats would fit?
I also read not long ago that someone put CRX seats in his EJ9 as they were good (and light)...
