-Injectors are 240cc oem honda D16y8 injectors (obd2a) plug & play on D14a4 /A3
- Distributor is from D15b7 (TD41U) plug & play on D14a4/a3
- Alternator is stock D14a4/a3

Nick, great solution for switching to OBD1. I'll keep this in mind for the summer

Re: D14 obd1 conversion => D16y7 ?
Great work Nick.
So would it be posible to clarify this whole thread into one post? MY situation is:
I have P06 ECU
I have 240cc injectors
I have D15B7 Distributor
I have D16Y8 manifold with IACV
I have a stock EJ9 loom and engine
What else do I need to convert my D14A4 to OBD1 using the above method??

Because the standard lambda wont work with this conversion?hondaNickx wrote:baz wrote:Nick, do you have a heated lambda?

Re: D14 obd1 conversion => D16y7 ?
No, D16y7 uses a 4 wire heated lambda .The heated lambda is better anyway imo ,specially if you are using a lambda on the downpipe .You can find Denso first replaced 4wire lambda's on ebay ,they cost around 40-50euro and they are very good.Been using one for 2 years now.Or bosch or NTK (ngk) or oem honda they are all good.The bosch or NTK are a bit more pricy around 80euro but they have a better quality too.I would not recomend using no name lambda's ,i've had bad experience with thembaz wrote:Because the standard lambda wont work with this conversion?hondaNickx wrote:baz wrote:Nick, do you have a heated lambda?

@ Owen
- P06 ecu or another obd1 ecu.
- D15b7 distributor (TD41u)
- 240cc injectors obd2a (Or 240ccinjectors obd1 with obd1 plugs)
- 4wire lambda
- D16y7 engine harnas
- IACV sensor plug (obd1)
- PCS sensor plug (obd1) (in my case D16y7 ued a different style plug)
- Ecu conversion harnas obd2a to obd1.(In my case i had to repin 1 wire from the iacv cause most obd2a to obd1 harnasses are made for a D16y8)
- Distributor conversion harnas 10 pin obd2 to obd1.Or cut and solder obd1 ignition plugs yourself.
PS: PCS and IACV sensor plugs are both thesame plugs (2wires round plug) .
