Well in my country its illegal not to have a catalytic converter if your car came with one from the factory. The car will flow better but it depends on wether you car about getting caught.

I think I got one laying around and it is actually a lot shorter, 32 cm in total... the catalyc material is a lot shorter in that compared to a 42 cm cat of the EJ9.

How are you going to make that fit a regular 2" exit from a D-series header?
Need to replace the flange cause it's huge and 2.5"
Quote from Endyn:"The combustion chamber is a better shape than the DOHC.So don't chunk those 1.6 SOHC engines, they can make really good power. For a pure performance application, regardless of application, I'd choose the SOHC. No bull!"

Re: High Flow Catalysts and Test Pipes.
hey guys a quick question about decats....
I know odb2b cars will throw an error code if you decat(because of the sensor in the cat)-But mine is obd1 now, so am i right in saying if i fit a decat it wont throw an error code?il just need to bung the hole in the decat pipe?
Bin wanting to decat for ages, now the dc2 (quiet) backbox is fitted im not worried about too much noise!
