You can install an alarm system which some of them are very cheap, or you can add a switch which cuts power to the fuel pump. This is what i am going to do. It must be in a hidden place still.

Law... if somebody realy want to robber your car, I think immobiliser is no problem.Law_ wrote:I didnt knew... but it will be easier for someone to robber my car? or itwill be difficult without the key?
More succesful can be some good hiden fuel cut of valve.
Re: PO6 --> P28
ok, i have an alarm already, not sure of its quality though.
Fuel cut... At the glove box inside, on the left, there is an interruptor that in case of accident must be pressed to unlock fuel cut. it is easily pressed without remove glove box. unfortunatly its lock. Just can be pressed to unlock, not to lock. If i could make it lock also, that would be great

Re: PO6 --> P28
you can use P28 ! P2P i think is OBD I also (not certain though)
Re: PO6 --> P28
you have to do obd swap anyway...mynameisowen wrote:Am i correct in thinking i can use the p28 ecu if i use a Y8 head or will i need to use the p2p ecu from the y8???? is the p2p obd1?
If you alredy have y8 head I suggest to get:
- P28
- complet!!! IM from d16z6 (with fuel rail and injectors 240cc !)
If you get y8 head with complete IM ...then is problem if you want use P28 becouse d16y8 have 190cc injectors and stock maps on P28 are for 240cc. You can tune ECU P28 to use 190cc but... beter way is use 240cc
... or you can just use y8 IM +injectors and rail from d16z6 (or d15b7 thesame inj.)
