how to bleed cooling system

I wana change my thermostat and coolant, so I start searching the proper way to do it... on almost tutorials it says do open the bleeding valve, but today I search in my car and don't find that valve!

so, how can I proper do the work?

just open the radiator cap then drain the coolant
the ej9s don't have bleeding valve

Yup, my EJ9 actually has one (since I mounted it from a D16Z6 hehehehe).

But indeed, just open radiator cap and drain below.
