Is the coolant bleeded already? This caused my first ever start to go up a down. But that should resolve itself after riding around for a day till a week...

Hi !
Yes, coolant refill to MAX.
I still got idle problem, since I ride ~50km, the problem did not resolves itself.
But now I've got my engine check signal light on my dashboard
When I strated this project, I labelled all the wires before disconnecting them, so, it cannot be an inversion of the TPS and RACV, but now I'm not sure...
What happens if I disconnect the RACV ? If I switch the RACV with the TPS, will I fry my ECU ?
Thanks for your patience !

News :
I taken off the intake tube and block the throttle with my palm : the engine turned very low but did not die => so there is a leak, but can't find it.
When the engine is hot, if I unplug the RACV, it idles at 1500rpm but still unstable (1600 - 1500 : bounces)
*** Want to sell it and buy a aircooled carburetors single piston bike ***
edit : Maybe a PCV vamve leak ? I've ordered a new one... see you next week

Is the 12 mm lug already installed correctly? That really could still be the problem otherwise. And with bleeding, I mean really take the air out of the system from the radiator cap. And in my case I drove a lot more than 50km before it really was bleeded 100%.

what 12mm lug are you talking about ? The last bolt on the IM ? It is !
My way of bleeding : let the engine warm up with the radiator cap open and complete with coolant as the level drops in the radiator.
I've disasembled all and re-do it "very" clean. Nothing change... Maybe bubbles, time will tells...
edit : maybe I can try to reset the ECU...

Reseting the ECU does nothing...
I've spit WD40 all around the IM, TB, injectors and every gasket => no change in rpm.
Also, I've played with the idle screw, with the RACV disconnected, but this does nothing too (now the screw is full closed but the idle still unchanged, approx. 2000rpm without RACV).

MMmmmmm, I've just noticed something wierd about my TB gasket, look at this :
https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/M ... directlink
Is this little gap normal ?? (the gasket is put on the correct way)... This is a new gasket for d16 TB... maybe I shoul take a new one for d14 ?
Here it's how it looks under the hood now : https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/y ... directlink

Re: D16Z6 IM swap on my EJ9 - IDLE problem
It is seems from here is the problem (vacuum leak).
If your throttle body is from ej9 1.4 then just buy this throttle body gasket 16176-P2A-004.
If is it from another engine buy the proper gasket for that engine throttle body gasket.

I've got a d14 TB Ok, so, problem found ! Thanks a lot ! I feel like a big noob
My gasket is 16176-P06-A02, for d16 TB. I'll buy the right one !
(but I'll keep this gasket for the (maybe) comming ODB1 swap )

Another vacuum leak it was... damn, happens a lot. I can only advice everybody doing these kind of swaps see if the gasket matches with both the IM and TB before installing.
