It really annoys me how much of a rush everyone seems to be in. Most people rinse it even if theres a red light ahead an I'm like WTF?

There is one problem with driving slow however: I hate it when you see people that were driving faster than you and they make the lights and you have to wait, and you think damn fuel economy is gonna be ruined now!

Here in the Netherlands its the same, people always have haste... I actually got into an argument with a woman once, since I accelerated too slow to her likin... story hoovers probably somewhere on the forum as well.

I was told by a colleague that while he was driving in Spain everybody seemed much more relaxed. If in the Netherlands the speed limit is 80 kmh on a country side road and you see a VW Golf with youngster in it, even some 'tuning' done etc. , you expect it to drive at least 100 and be at your tail. Not over there it seems, even given more than enough room to overtake, in Spain such persons seem just to listen to the speed limit, take their distance and drive with ease. Was this just some luck my colleague had or can people from around Spain confirm people overthere seem to be more relaxed in their driving?

Yea people seem obsessed with driving above the speed limit here just because they can. You always get idiots in their SUV's driving really fast for no reason.

Yeah that would be sick, there are a couple of good places here in Wales but I am going to probably get my Civic Dyno Tuned in Leicester they were really warm with the idea of turbo tuning my mini-me converted Civic with a small turbo. Hope to get that soon, waiting now to get my AEM UEGO gauge so that I get a good tune the first time around.

Also on the topic of fuel saving it will help me to gauge when I am running rich or lean as it gives a very accurate reading so cant wait, also I learnt about the vacuum gauge so may pick this up to keep an eye on my driving habits.

I have a question:

As myself and quite a few others on this forum have now converted their cars to OBD1 ECU (we still retain the OBD2 socket behind the center console) Will this plug into devices which are made to read OBD2 data like the Scangauge and Ultragauge, or OBD2 diagnostic tools.

If you are not sure what these are I have provided links below. I find these very interesting and hope to get maybe the Ultragauge as it will give me MPG readouts and many other things rather than having loads of gauges stuck all over the place.

http://www.scangauge.com/

http://www.ultra-gauge.com/ultragauge/index.htm

I hope someone could advise.
