Just remember my engine... it can take a whole lot of punishment, as long as you oil it properly...

I'm of the same opinion. I want to go further with my engine but I can't afford to reduce its lifespan. I am seriously considering rebuilding it for this reason, peace of mind, and also the fact that I'd love to do it anyway.

1998 BB8 Prelude Motegi VTi
1998, B16A2 EK4 Civic VTi

Aims:
EJ9 - Now my GF's car.
BB8 - Rebuild after crash damage to front end.
EK4 - Daily driver. Strip and track prep once prelude project complete

on the other i wouldn't want to open the engine without having to change headgasket for example, as i know that the engine cannot be tighten the same way it was done by the factory.

True but if you have the right tools (which I don't :cry: ) then you can do a good job and be happy with the knowledge your engine is as good as new. Not to mention potential for upgraded parts.
