Re: D16Z5 swap into EJ9 (D14A4)
hehe, thx dodo !
The rest is just code 11.
because I have Pm7 ECU who worked without Lambda (from D16A9), and had a sensor that is not D16Z5 engine!
D16Z5 - catalitic converter + lambda sensor
Dr16A9 - without catalitic converter + IMA sesnor instead of lambda sensor !
I turned on the engine last night, first on 3 cylinders after cleaning one injector on all 4
when start engine runing on 3000 RPM's with interruptions ! like missfire, but I think they are very dirty nozzles of storage and need deep cleaning...
todey, more news and pictres...

IMA sensor is not a real sensor, it is just a lame potentiometer mounted on the ECU which you can turn to tell the ECU it should lean or enrich its idle mixture . Just a MOT passing thing. But quite brilliant in its simplicity.

Re: D16Z5 swap into EJ9 (D14A4)
i'm change my PM7 with new one from my friend, who also have PM7
new situation:
my EJ9: D16Z5 + PM7 X030 (no Cell; lambda conected)
friends CRX: D16A9 + PM7 B021 (no Cell)
Now I'm beginning to the end;)!
I have yet to isolate the wire and that's the end of electrical torture.
plan after this:
1. engine fuel menagement is very bad (i think injector's is very old, maybe fuel pressure regulator, i donnt know in these moment)
can i use injector's from D14, without injector resistor to run D16 engine?

Dear Sirs,
help me!
If someone has a picture of where he pushed P28 ECU or something similar. D14 ECU is small, this is a lot bigger I have no idea how to put it.
project is at 90%, the engine works very well. currently putting in wire insulation
)

Goods news, keep going
Post some photos
Put the obd1 ecu upside-down like Joris(dodo) did
from here http://dodo-upgrades.nl/ --> OBD1 swap D14A3/4 (upd.)

Yup the wires were a bit short so I needed to put it reversed. No idea how it sits now, I completely reworked the looms but actually forgot if I put it normal or reversed nowadays.

Nice and beatiful.
It looks like as stock engine-job.
How car running?
And with the steering pump and it's bracket what you did?
