Questions here is there a conversion harness? or can i build one? is it possible to build one? i saw one on this site just want to know if it works becuase i have an extra SFi ecu which i can destroy

As I see in the photo there are wires pin1 BRN/YEL color and pin2 RED/BLU color so it must be SFI and the 3 pin is empty and I think all colors of your connectors wires is according to the below schematic

Ready conversion harness SFI-->OBD1 doesn't exist but you can make custom one for yourself. Some members here did it

thank u soo much for the help i have a few more questions hope im not buggin i think im going down the path of building a harness but couple things there are some extra wires like 7 DLC lt blu stuff like that wat do i do with the extras and can it work with out them i was just match up ecu pin diagram

2 time read this topic, and dont undestand.

how u can take 140 bhp, without vtec and obd1 ecu mods?

intake and exhaust manifold and 240cc ijectors wits 40 PSI, get u from 90bhp to 100-110, but 140 how !!?

k in the obd1 pin out there are more wires to run like inj4 n stuff like that where do u run these wires when building a conversion harness from sfi to obd1 there are extra pins on the obd1 side... can the conversion harness work without these wires or there have to be connected in some way like i saw on the post the ectra connector with the moc up harness

You must repin wires to obd1 connectors and add every wire at poper connector according to obd1 schematic. In general you must go from 2 connectors of SFi to 3 ones of OBD1 and add the wires that needs obd1 ecu

Read my articles which Betek posted before, especially the OBD1 swap article, they contain all information, you indeed have the same SFi setup as found in D14 engines. The harness converts all available wires but you need to pull additional wires for ignition and lambda. There is someone in the middleeast who goes by the name Racepak who has the same engine and really build it up with turbo's if I remember correctly.
